  1. If you have a TV on your car play video games or watch a movie . Crank the music . Bring homework ? Laptop for computer games . Jokes ? I pod . DVD player , Books ,Coluring books . DS.

  2. I know a way that will definitely keep her entertained.. but you have to be willing to do it. It costs abou $25-$30 but it'll be sure to keep her interested.

Buy a hamster and a standard cage.

Buy some treats and a hamster care book.

She's going to be SO excited about having a pet hamster that she'll want to do everything with it. She's going to be very occupied with it, and since she wants to know everything about the hamster, she'll read the book quietly. Don't tell her about the hamster, just go out and buy one the day before. That way, she'll have so much to do like naming it, interacting with it, and learning its characteristics.

It's one of the best ways to keep a child entertained.

Good Luck! Your child will thank you =D

  3. ask her what she likes and then go get a couploe of thing s that would quite her down

  4. Travel games, magazines, MP3 player, Mad Libs, etc.  Make enough stops for her to stretch and pee.

  5. Get her a portable DVD player, maybe an ipod. Some coloring books, and a pillow. (She might fall asleep after a few hours)

  6. take her homework with her

  7. A book, has she got an mp3 player/ipod they usually work well, errm PSP or handheld game. You could also buy some of the mini pocket game things. You coudl play I spy, or something like that. Take some crayons, I don;t know if na 11 year old would like to colour or draw but its worth a shot. You coudl also just talk about something to her. Or tell her that of she'd quiet and good then you'll get her something she wants, or something like that. You could also take a laptop or portable DVD player. Or let her stay up all nigth so she sleeps in the car on the way. :)

  8. Play the "eye spy" game and stuff.

she's a kid, she'll get over it, get some small toys from the dollar store, a book-on-tape from the library, give her a digital camera for the roadtrip, whatever.

It's like a weekend inside because it's raining.

  9. It is not your job to entertain an eleven year old.

Let her know how long the trip is going to be.  Suggest she take some things to occupy herself.

When she complains about boredom, tell her it's OK to be bored.

  10. Bring a laptop and a bunch of movies, Ipod, books, lots of snacks.

  11. Bring lots of Cds she likes.  Buy some surprise magazines or books so she'll be occupied by the surprise factor for a while.  Play road trip games http://roadtripplanning.com/road-trip-ga...

Just talk and bring lots of snacks :)

    Have fun!

  12. Well for your information I'm 11 and well probably what entertains me is an IPOD lol. Or you could but a game pack at a toy store for only 5 - 9 dollars with all these games you could play. Or you could play I SPY in the car :)

Thats what I do when I go to LA for like 9 hours I'm so bored! Hahaha

  13. homework.

    music.

let her stay up as late as she wants the night before, then let her sleep in the car.

stop occasionally at attractions they always have one billboards. (this would break up that car trip a little bit)

have her bring a book she hasnt started yet.

buy her a coloring book, or sketch pad.

    bring a portable dvd player.

  14. Try a gameboy or some kind of games.

  15. We frequently take road trips with our 12 year old daughter.  She brings her iPod, Nintendo DS and a portable CD player.  She can't read in the car or she'll get carsick so she also brings a book on CD and a CD player.  Bring a pillow so she can sleep if she wants and take frequent breaks so everyone can stretch their legs, get something to eat and go to the bathroom.  When we're traveling a long way like that, we try to find interesting things along the way to break up the trip.

  16. I would bring homework a dvd player with movies maybe a cd player, video games. and even interaction games like how many blue cars do you see  or other road games bring snacks also

  17. Have her bring books that she likes to read, any homework she might have. If you have portable dvd player bring that with her favorite movies. She is eleven, by now she should be able to entertain herself.  My mom always told me that it was not her job to entertain me, I had to do it myself. Maybe its time for her to learn that. =) Hope you have a good and safe drive.

  18. there are books that have "brain teasers" like sudoku, crosswords, connect the dots, all in  the same book. I have got some at the dollar store. You can also buy her books... there is a series from Louis Rennison and the first book is called Angus, Thongs and Full Frontal Snogging they are hillarious... although they are for young girls I love them...

  19. it depends what she likes.

  20. get her some travling games they have them at dollar stores..or get her a good book

  21. Portable DVD player - a worthy investment.

  22. It's a great time to read a good book. break it up with some music and Nintendo DS games. Have some healthy snacks and drinks available for her too.
