Taking Sealed Xbox 360 to South Africa for a gift... Customs charges in SA ?

Im travelling to south africa soon and would like to take someone an xbox 360 as a gift, its a brand new sealed one,

Will I be charged in south africa for it ? From what I know it will be ok going from UK, I should declare it here as well, but not sure what I should do once I land in SA. The xbox will go in my hand luggage for safety.

id also check games in south africa will work on the uk xbox version and the box will work with south african electrical supply.
