Taking Valtrex but it's making the Herpes worse!?

Doc started me on Valtrex 500 and I was also frequenting the tanning bed along with strenuous 1-2 hour workouts. I seem much worse and it seems to spread internally and all the way to my r****m. I feel irritated, burn, and seems to "dry" out my vaginal walls. I've never been this bad even with my first outbreak. I called the doc and they increased it to 1 gram but it doesn't clear up. The nurse called me in a pill for a yeast infection but it only helped for awhile. It only helped when I stopped the tanning visits and the Valtrex at the same time. The nurse spoke like it was very unlikely due to the Valtrex. When I visit the tanning bed I use a moist towelette to clean up before I leave. Has anyone else experienced this? Do you feel I may be allergic to the Valtrex or could the tanning bed cause this? I've heard being exposed to the sun causes Herpes 1 to be worse and the tanning bed does the same as the sun. Please help! Any advice would be greatly appreciated because it's making my life h**l! I've begun washing the area with only clear water but it also has not helped. Any suggestions?
