Question:

Taking a PS2 on a cruise...?

My buddy and I are going on a cruise (Carnival Imagination) in May, and we were wondering if we'd be able to hook up his PS2 in our room. While we don't plan on spending much time in there, we would like to have it in case we've got some down time and just want to chill and play some football or something. Anyway, does anyone know if the tvs in the rooms come with the RCA connections we'd need to hook up the games?

Thanks!

  1. if i remember correctly they already have them .

  2. WHY would you want to play PS2 when you are spending good money to be on a cruise!!  Get a LIFE!  Get out, meet girls, drink beer, play silly pool games, drink something with an umbrella in it, swim, sun, eat, dance, hit golf balls off the back of the ship, play basketball in the sun, gamble, go up to the 'topless' deck, work out in the gym!!  Jeeze!

  3. They do come with the RCA connections.  At least the TVs that were in my cruise ships did.

  4. The Imagination does have RCA connections to hook up a Play Station. But trust me, if you want, you'll have plenty to do on the ship all day, all night and well into the middle of the night if you want to take it in. The disco goes well into the night and is a popular place on the Imagination.

  5. This question has been asked before.  People have previously responded that you CAN take it on the ship, but you will probably have more fun with the activities that the ship provides.

  6. I was on Imagination last May and I am pretty sure there were connections on the TV. Enjoy Imagination --- it is an awesome ship. If you and your buddy are heading to Jamaica make sure to hit up Jimmy Buffetts Margaritaville -- its only a short walk from the port. That place is out of control!! Also make sure you get a chance to check out the Dunns River Falls as an excursion. Have fun -- that cruise is awesome!!

If your trip is like my trip -- I was on it with 5 of my friends... you will not have any down time... There is always something to do -- so you may want to think again about bringing it and taking up space in the suitcase!
