  1. Most parent choose to keep hold of a pushchair (prams will probably be considered over-sized baggage & will have to be checked in at the check in desk) after check in (easier to push baby than carry, flights are often delayed & babies get tired).  The pushchairs are put in the hold when you board the plane.

  2. You take the pram with you right up till you board the plane and they will take it from you and put it in the hold.

  3. If its just a buggy you may be able to take it on with you - the stewardess will store it for you.

When they call you to board the plane - families with children are usually called first so that they can get the children settled and things like the buggy stowed before the other passengers get on.  Hopefully that is still in place.  Contact your travel agent and they will be able to help you.  Arrangments can be made to help you at the airport.

  4. After you check your luggage in, you will be able to keep your pram ("stroller" in the U.S) with you in the terminal.  You will have to take out all your baby gear and put it through security, but at least you can wheel your baby around the airport.  When you arrive at your gate, go to the desk and ask the attendant for a "Gate Check" tag.  They will attach it to the side of your pram.

Right before you board the plane, you will leave your pram (folded up) right outside the door to the plane, on the jetway.  Before the plane leaves (you will be on the plane at this point) the pram will be stored down below.

When you disembark, you will wait right outside the door of the plane on the jetway.  It takes awhile but your pram will be delivered to right to you.

Take lots of diversions for your baby.  Take a lot of diapers and formula (if needed) in case of long delays.  Oh and a change of clothes for spit ups.  I learned that the hard way!  And it's a great idea to have them feed at take off and landing to help their ears equalize the pressure, since they can't "pop" them alone.  Have fun on your holiday!!

  5. If u need the pram to help u around , u can still use it. but the furthers u can go is . OUTSIDE the exit of the plane, just before u board the plane, that's the place where u have to leave yr pram. whereby they will check it inside the cargo and u will retrieved it after arrival in yr destination.

During inflight, most big airlines, do have baby cot.(for baby to sleep) so u don't have to carry him all the time. Pls do remember to carry baby food, baby powder, diapers etc.....

    Have a happy journey!

  6. - You ca take the pram with you will the boarding gate.

    - Once you reach to the boarding gate, they will ask you to submit it somewhere near to the Airplane entrance and not before that.

    - If you have a halt inbetween, mention clearly to the airlines staff about your need inbetween.

    All the best.
