Taking a cruise to hawaii on the princess cruise lines. Pls give location of port. tks.?

the princess cruise lines are close to what? How many miles from the LA International airport? Pls advise. Tks.

  1. There are two cruise ship docks in Los Angeles.  The two docks are close to each other.  One dock is in Long Beach, next to the Queen Mary.  It is owned and used by Carnival.  The other dock is in San Pedro.  It is used by all the other cruise lines, including Princess.  See the photos below ...

    The bridge in the photo is the Vincent Thomas Bridge.  It is at the end of the Harbor (110) Freeway.  The following photo shows the Island Princess docked in San Pedro (in front of the blue marker).  The Island Princess left later that day for Hawaii ...

    It is about 20 miles from LAX to the dock in San Pedro.

    Traveling from the Los Angeles area (north) -

    Take the 405 Freeway south.

    Take the 710 Freeway south.

    Continue on the 710 Freeway south and follow the signs for the Queen Mary.  

    At the entrance to the Queen Mary, stay to the far right of the parking ticket taker for the Queen Mary; this lane is the entrance to the Long Beach Cruise terminal.

    Follow the signs for Passenger Parking and Luggage Drop-Off area.
