Thanks for reading...

Basically i'm planning on heading out to Paris for 2 nights and want to know what pricing is like in Paris?

How much is a weekend of meals and tourists attractions going to set me back on average.

Vague question I know but just wondered whether anyone could help me?

Cheers.

  1. It's quite fairly priced. I'm not sure if she is the kind of girl that will swoon if you drop 150 euros for dinner, but that sort of price is average for higher class dining. You can order a la carte for around 80 euros for the two of you and that's including wine. Also, you may most certainly find a hotel that is less than 100 euros per night but it would be located outside of the central part meaning you would have to take a few stops in the metro to get to The Louvre. Which I would suggest going to, if you have time. The Eiffel tower changes in price according to the season but as I remember it didn't cost more than 15 euros to go to the top. Paris is really a lot of fun, but don't get to obsessed about the tourist attractions. There are nice parks around the Louvre, and if you are interested in checking out tourist attractions I would suggest: the famous Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Élysées ( for the girls shopping needs obviously...), Sacré-Cœur (it is a basilica but the shops along the way to it are nice and the view is amazing), the Louvre, and of course the Tower. I'm personally not a fan of French food especially gelatin with egg, ham and pickles which they like to serve as an appetizer.

See? A lot of those attractions that i listed don't even cost anything to visit. It's really just romantic to walk around and take everything in.

  2. It will be expensive.

How expensive is hard to say, like, do you want to go to the Sacre Coeur and see Paris from the top of the steps or do you go to the Eiffel tower and see the town from the highest level, having lunch on the way down?

One is free, (just your metro ticket to get there,) the other will set you back about 50 Euro, or more if you like a big lunch.

Going out for dinner can be anything from 15 Euro for the cheapest to more than 200 Euro if you go to the most expensive restaurant and take a good wine with your dinner.

If you are familiar with the prices in London, expect the same range, but different things will be more of less expensive.

Most people here advice something between 100 Euro and 300 Euro per person per day, but that is including a modest hotel.

  3. Oh you Romeo
