Taking a trip to South America?

I'm 16, and I am going to South America to do some mission work with my uncle. I've heard it is really beatiful along with Central America. I was just wondering where the best place to go. I was kind of thinking Costa Rica.

Costa Rica is a good choice! Very rich and beautiful country. And if you know a little Spanish, it is perfect because Costa Ricans speak slow and clearly. There are many things to do there and you will enjoy it because it is a very diverse country.

Costa Rica is fine but it would my last choice of the countries in Central America. A lot of people love it there and because it is more popular more people talk about it.

Like Cancun in Mexico there are just too many tourists to suit me.I thought Cancun was great until they built 100 hotels on the beach.You may want to go to all seven of the countries in Central America before you pick a favorite.
