Taking an extra semester? ?

I'm behind on some courses. Right now, I'm taking 8 courses instead of 7 and I need to do that next semester as well as go to summer school in order to graduate in time. I'm debating taking an extra semester and then traveling during the spring before returning to school in the fall. I can't decide if this is a good idea, because i would be behind. Any advice?

During no other time will you be able to live as you do in college. If traveling is something that you really want to do, and can afford to, I say go for it. The school will still be there when you get back. But if you need to graduate in order to get a job and take care of responsibilities, then it might not be feasible.
