Taking care of a newborn mouse? (no mother)?

Please help me.

My mom caught the mom of the baby mouse and relaesed her outside. Not knowing she had a baby. witch i found today.

Its VERY small, eyes not open, and also has fur.

She suggested to kill it and pput it out of its misery.

i just cant do it. i cry to the thought. i am an animal lover. and i have aggred to take care of it until it can be realsed outside and survie.

i have the time. and equitment . i just dont noe what to do.

i have been keeping it warm under a lamp surrounded in kleenex all day. also, i have been filling a siringe with homogized milk. and feeding it when ever it squirese or reaches out.

it opens its mouth , slitghly, but its a difficult task.

Please

HELP

i dont want to e it die on me :( i wil cry for days.

  1. i don't believe that homogenized milk will give the baby mouse the nutrition it needs to survive it will eventually die.  cow milk is different from mouse milk.

    the best thing to do would probably be take it to a pet shop that sells mice.  sometimes a mama mouse will take on a new baby as her own.  i used to raise mice and kept 4 females in the same tank.  everytime i would go to clean the cage the babies would be under different hides and mama's would have babies from different litters nursing from them.
