Hi

I am on clomid for partner having low sperm count, i ovulate fine. Had an early m.c after 3 months of clomid now back on the clomid. My progesterone levels on day 21 are normally quite high but this month was 4 which indicated i didn't ovulate this month which is very strange for me. Anyway my problem is i am 5 days late for my period, i have had cramps and signs that period is coming for the last 2 weeks nearly but nothing. I'm really confused its doing my head in.

Thanks in advance for answers.

  1. Your doctor may have to get you provera to get the cycle going again. I guess sometimes the clomid does that. I am on my first cycle of it hoping for the best. Good luck

  2. Hmm... I have never heard of anyone taking clomid because of their partners low count..  Interesting.....

Anyways, since you probably didn't ovulate, then your period may not come until you DO ovulate.  I;d call your dr and ask for provera to make your period come and then start the clomid ritual again...  Maybe ask for a higher dose this time.. I did 50 mgs for 3 months and got pg on the last month, only to miscarry at 6 weeks.. Then 2 years later, I went on 100 mgs and for pg with twins.. they are now 4.5 yrs old ;)

Keep the faith.. it will happen!
