  1. Get a good night's sleep. You'll feel a lot less anxious with more rest. Eat a good breakfast. It's difficult to concentrate when you're hungry.

  2. Begin looking at driving as something that you're going to be good at. Then realize that there are literally millions of horrible drivers out there who were able to pass their drivers test. If they can do it, just think how easy it will be for you. There now... don't you feel more confident and relaxed?

  3. I remember my first ones they were pretty scary.  If your not scared your not ready to drive.   The most common cause of death in teens is car accidents.  Be careful.   I have a feeling that if your nervous you will do fine.  Relax and enjoy the new experience.

  4. If you get nervous behind the wheel as a student! it is a failure

notice, part of mastering driving lessons! is to read the driver's handbook, especially signs and regulatory signs, and when you go out on the street just follow those signs, and all

the nervousness will disappear.  If you start out being afraid

of driving on the streets, it will stay with you all through your

driving life! and you can become a road hazard, believe in

yourself ! driving is steering! and paying attention to the

road signs, rules and regulations, looking in rearview mirrors

to drive defensively. When you get in the driver's seat that

should be your only concern. You fail yoursel with fear.

  5. Make sure you buckle up.  DO NOT take your cell with you.  Pay attention to what you're doing, and relax, remember, your instructor was nervous his/her first time driving. Also, DO NOT play with the radio.  Good Luck

  6. i did it a couple months ago. i passed the test before we even got started. it wasn't that bad. i was a little nervous the first drive test but after that it was ok.

  7. Driving lessons are always a nerve racking experience!! Tell your teacher that you're feeling nervous and they will ease you into it and make sure they don't pressurise you too much or push you too far unless you're ready. Getting past the first couple of lessons always helps to make sure you familiarise yourself with the car, your teacher, and the way you're being taught.

One piece of advice I would tell you would be that make sure you're happy with your teacher as this is a big part of learning to drive. The first driving teacher I had was an idiot and really pushy so I transfered to my friends teacher and he was much better! He was a much friendlier guy and I passed first time with one minor!!

    Good Luck!
