  1. The signs will kick your a  s    s... when i got my learner permit i failed the signs.. but the second day i passed it...  i made rhymes for the signs though.. that sorta helped.. But i didnt study.. I only took the cheezy practice tests on the internet but that didnt help... Just make sure you read your state's driving manual and you should be fine..

  2. Rectangular white signs with black lettering are Regulatory signs..........i.e. speed zones......Do not Enter, Pedestrian crosswalk, no Left/Right Turn, etc.

Diamond shaped yellow signs are Warning signs about things coming up such as a curve in the road ahead, a merge of two roads, etc.

Other signs may be Blue with information for tourists, or other colors indicating certain things.

    Orange signs are Construction.

An eight-sided (octagonal) red sign is a Stop Sign.

An inverted triangular (three sided) white sign with a red border is a Yield sign.....

Break it down into certain categories so you will come to know the different "types" of signs, instead of trying to remember each sign individually.

    Good luck!

Luck is when preparation meets opportunity...

  3. Make flash cards. Just put the shape of the sign on them - get someone to help you and keep going through them until you feel more confident. It is important that you actually know that information. It will make driving easier for you.
