Taking money for parking permits

This might be a loaded ordeal but here's the problem..

I live in a Apt complex that you need a parking permit or guest permit to park.. About a year ago the complex started charging for the permits, not much like $10.. I like other years past have gone to get the passes and they at first wanted to give me more stickers then I have cars.. I have only one car but wanted to give me 2.. I said I only need one sticker and a guest pass..

As time gone on parking was getting harder and harder to find but still able to find parking next to by building..

Well this month was bad, most times I was parking about a block away. I was very upset.. There was a meeting of the complex and found others have had the same problem.. Some getting towed..

The complex sees and knows it's a problem but basically says O well..

I want to do something before it gets bad.. Fights and what not, AND before the winter...

What do you think?

What can I do or call?

  1. I don't think there's much more you can do but maybe go to Town Hall and complain. You could also make the suggestion to the complex that since you are PAYING for a parking pass that they should maybe start up assigned parking. Maybe that might help and all the guest have to park in the same area that is further away from the complex so that the actual residents get first dibs on the parking spaces.

  2. What do you think they could do ?

It is just how it is  Find the closest space and live with it.

If no,  MOVE to a new apartment
