Taking money out of an atm in a foriegn country exchange rate?

lets say i have $150 in my atm then i travel to ireland and take out £20 will i have neg. $31ish (exchange rate) or neg. $20? so when i take out of an atm does £20=$20 out of my account is what im asking. sorry if thats confusing

  1. It goes by the exchange rate, so it's going to take more than $20 out of your account.  On the positive side, it's going to be the actual exchange rate, so you should get a better deal than exchanging your money.
