Question:

Taking my 5 y.o. to get Vaccines when she may be sick?

I am not sure she is sick. My hubby has a cold now, and her nose was a little runny earlier. She also took a nap, which is rare for her. No fever, no complains of pain or sore throat.

Her apt is tomorrow, should I reschedule? Take her in anyways, but tell them??

What would you do?

  1. Call the doctor's office and ask them.  Some vaccines aren't at issue so long as its just a case of the sniffles.  Or, just go on in, and let them know what is going around in your household before she gets the shots.  The doctor can advise you on the best course.

  2. They tell you that it is ok as long as they don't have a fever.  Remember, you are giving her illnesses in those shots.  There are also a lot of neurotoxins in them which even with a cold could cause adverse reactions, although they will deny it.  Just think about having a cold and exposing yourself to someone that has something worse.  Wouldn't you be afraid of getting sicker?  Check out www.thinktwice.com before making your final decision.  And check out the ingredients and make sure you are FULLY informed before you do this.

  3. My doctor won't give kids shots if they show any symptoms of being sick.  I would call to reschedule.

  4. You don't want to take a potentially sick child for their vaccinations.

Take the initiative to call the doctor's office and reschedule. Your child's health comes first.
