OK, I heard there are a set amount of questions they can ask you about taking your driver's permit test. I would like to know where I can practice these questions. I'm 16 and live in New York and am going tomorow. Where do I find questions to practice?

  1. Try looking on the DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) website or otherwise check google

  2. I don't know about NY, but California DMV has a web site which gives several sets of practice questions.  The laws in NY are probably different than CA, but they probably have a similar website.

In CA, the new driver must take both a written test and a driving test.  The new driver written test consists of 36 questions.  A person with no violations whose license has merely expired is required only to take a written test consisting of 18 questions.  I believe that in either circumstance, you are allowed to miss no more than 10%.

    Hope this helps.

  3. Here's some practice questions for you.  Good luck.
