Question:

Taking my daughter to daycare tomorrow..?

Well, I start school again next Wednesday. I asked a question last week, maybe, and someone suggested take her in for a couple hours to get her used to it again. So, I have decided I will give this a try. I am taking her to daycare tomorrow... and I am so sad that I will be babyless after 3 months! But, I think it is good for both of us to be away from each other for a couple hours so we can get used to it. Anyways, my question is. Exactly how long do I keep her there? I know I don't want her there the whole day, but am unsure of how long to keep her there.

Has anyone else done this before? What were your experiences? As in doing this before I mean: Having your child go to daycare for months, take them out for 3 months over the summer, then taking them back a couple months later.

I just need a peace of mind that she will be ok. She will probably do better than me!

BTW she is 13 months old.

  1. Just take her for like 2 or 3 hours in the morning. Pick her up and she will be ready for a nap. In the mean time, you take a nap while she is there.

  2. Hun, she will be okay. Ava is smart and adjust okay to change...You have to trust yourself on this one hun...You stressing or starting to worry or get nervous will affect her..and she will start to have those feelings...So firstly YOU have to stay calm and happy..I know you are sad..trust me I know...She will adjust again and also be so excited when mommy comes to get her after school...And also you have to keep thinking in your head that it is the best thing you can do for her and your future to get your education...Call me tomorrow and tell me how it goes hun...I wuv you!!
