I take alot of photos of roofs before we start while we are doing them and when we have finished.I am a roofer and i enjoy putting the photos onto dvds with music and words etc.

I use Soney Vegas 6.0 and when the photos are on the time line,if the photos have been taken from say the ground the lines of the tiles are all over the place, they should be straight.

If i use Windows movie maker the photos are ok but not with Vegas.I prefer to use Vegas as i can do more with it than Windows.

If i use my camcorder the pictures are ok.

I use my Nokia 95 phone to take the photos as i can carry it in my pocket.Have tried another phone to take pictures same problem.

Just started using your mag very good you have another customer hope yoyu can solve this mystery

All the best

  1. Some camera lenses distort straight lines slightly.  From my understanding, this is a result of cheaper quality wide-angle lenses which try and condense as much of a scene into a given shot.  The most extreme example being, a fisheye lens.
