I'm planing on taking the PLAN test this year. On the ACT web site they don't give much information. I was wondering how hard the test really is? What books should I read to help me prepare for it? Are some parts harder than others? What sort of math is on the test? What's a good score on the test? Do they make any of those chapter books with the vocublary words in them for the PLAN test, and do they really work? But mostly i need help on knowing what to study for, i don't want to waste my time reading things I wont need. I want to get the higest score i can.

  1. I took the PLAN test when I was a Sophomore and it is like a practice ACT. It was hard but it tells you what you need to prepare for when you take the ACT. I don't remember exactly what was on it math wise but probably a little of everything, algebra, geometry.  I didn't read any books before I took it but I did for the ACT. The scores range from 1-32. I got a 23 on my ACT last year which is two points higher than I got on my PLAN. Hope this helps.
