Question:

Taking the SAT reasoning test the 2nd time?

Well I just got my SAT scores back when I took the test on June 7. It was my first time and I'm really dissapointed with my score: Math 660, Writing 580, and for reading: a whopping 440. That adds to a big 1680 out of 2400 (not so good). I'm going to try to really bring all those marks up especially the reading mark because I'm planning to take the test again. My question is : how do I go about improving my reading mark? Also, when is a good time to take the reasoning test again? I'm entering my junior year in high school(I'm acutally Canadian) this fall and I need to know when is the best appropiate time to take it or does it not matter?

  1. Well I am in a similar situation and I am planning on waiting until the end of junior year so that I can really have time to learn something and improve. If you want you can take it halfway through the year and at the end! After all, you add all of you BEST scores together. It couldn't hurt, right?

    Good luck!

    P.S. That's a pretty good math score. That's where I suck, I got a 580, :(!
