  1. those r some really good answers... you could try www.beagolfer.info

  2. Hit DOWN on the ball.  Do not try to lift the ball.  Allow the loft of the club to do that.

Be considerate of other golfers.  Do not go out on a golf course until you know how to play.

  3. keep your left arm straight if your a righty

  4. The first three answers are good.  Also, make sure you swing nice and easy - let the club head do most of the work.

One more point, I agree with answer 3 the most.  No offense, but if you have never golfed, you don't really have any business being on a golf course.  Respect the golfers at the golf course and hit up the range instead.  Learn how to swing a club and hit a ball before you walk on that course.

  5. First, we're going to go over the basics of the history of the game of golf:

    Rural beginnings

    The exportation of golf

    Did it begin in Scotland?

    The first golfers

    Early courses, early equipment

Knowing where golf has come from will help you understand more fully your place on the golf course.
