Takuto Inoue and Yuki Kaneko bag Men’s Doubles title at Li-Ning Romanian International 2013
Japan’s upcoming players Takuto Inoue and Yuki Kaneko continued their giant killing run on court and wrapped up the Men’s Doubles title at Li-Ning Romanian International 2013 on Sunday, March 17, in Romania.
The un-seeded Takuto and Yuki played to their maximum potential and they outplayed France’s Quentin Vincent and Sebastian Vincent in the final encounter in a completely crushing manner.
Japanese shuttlers were on a different level as they commanded the pace of rallies throughout the final encounter of Men’s Doubles category and they remained successful in winning the match in straight games with a staggering total of 21-10 and 21-10 in
just 18 minutes.
On the other hand, Quentin and Sebastian failed to maintain their aggression in the arena as they could not cope up with the incredible pace of rallies. They tried to put up a strong show but failed to create pressure on their Japanese challengers and eventually
bowed down in a lopsided manner.
In the first game, the impressive Takuto and Yuki delivered a spectacular show in the arena as they executed shots while dictating control from opening points.
The hard-to-learn variations in Takuto and Yuki’s shots helped them greatly and they easily maintained their superiority against their French challengers who struggled.
Takuto and Yuki did not show any sign of confusion in their aggressive play and they remained in complete control of the pace until the one-minute break.
The battle proceeded in the same fashion after the mid-game interval as Takuto and Yuki did not lose their control in the arena at any stage and stayed in complete command.
Takuto and Yuki did not reduce the speed of the game at any stage and bagged the first game with a stunning 21-10 score on the board.
Quentin and Sebastian tried their best to play positive badminton in the starting half of the second set but they failed to create pressure on their in-form Japanese opponents.
Meanwhile, the Japanese shuttlers entertained the crowd with their incredible skills that enabled them to maintain pressure on their opponents who could not find a good rhythm at any stage.
The tricky and positive play in the concluding half of the second set helped Takuto and Yuki to grab the set with a stunning margin of 21-10 and they finished the game in straight games.
