Tales Of Grimm’s brilliant performances will take him to the Royal Ascot
Sir Michael Stoute trained Tales Of Grimm has started his racing career magnificently with two brilliantly run races, convincing his connections to step-up the level of competition and test him in the Royal Ascot.
The runner’s connections have reached the decision to run him at Ascot, but they have not yet contemplated which race is better for him and will suit him more.
The son of Distorted Humor, out of mare Stupendous Miss, has a number of options to choose from.  He will either compete in the Group 3 Tercentenary Stakes, which covers ten furlongs and will take place on 21st June, 2012 or
the  Group 1 St. James's Palace Stakes on 19th June, 2012, that runs over 1 mile.
The bay colt is under the ownership of Sir Robert Ogden, and has been performing in a brilliant manner. The owner’s racing manager, Barry Simpson, reflected on his past performances and stated to the press that:
"It was a good performance at Sandown and he'll probably go to Royal Ascot. We're not sure which race yet."
He further added: "He'll be in a couple of races. He doesn't qualify for handicaps as he's only had the two runs.
"He'll be in the race that used to be the Hampton Court, the Tercentenary. That's one possibility and he's still in the St James's Palace. He's promising and hopefully he'll run well next time."
The three-year-old runner was whelped on 23rd April, 2009, and began his racing career on 12th August, 2011, when he participated in the Don Deadman Memorial European Breeders' Fund Maiden Stakes at Newbury
under jockey, Kieren Fallon.
The young runner surprised his connections with his magnificent performance as he emerged victorious by defeating race favourite, Firdaws, by a small margin of a head.
Tales Of Grimm’s seasonal debut was just as impressive, as he finished third in the Betfair Heron Stakes at Sandown on 31st May, 2012.

He was close to the victory and with the a little more effort could have achieved it as he finished 2 ¼ lengths behind the winner, Cogito.
