Talex tal 04 101 speed camera detector - any good ?

Does anyone have the Talex 04 101 speed camera detector in the uk ? are they worth having - or can anyone point out a better one ? I don't drive like a loon and have a clean licence and wood like to keep it that way !

  2. I wouldn't trust my driving licence to a dash top machine.

    Have you ever thought of keeping within the speed limit?

    Save your licence, save fuel as you're not wasting it speeding up and stopping, saves on repairs to your car as you don't wear it out so much and there's less chance of crashing.

    Passengers appreciate smoother driving as well.

  3. You refer to this as a detector, does this mean it is a radar scanner to 'find' speed cameras?  

    If so it is illegal and you are likely to get done for it.

    The speed camera database(s) on Sat Navs etc. are legal because they only give the GPS locations of fixed cameras.
