Talk-Talk Broadband Wireless?

Question

My Echolife GH520s Wireless Router has stopped sending out a signal, ive tried the reset hole and still no good.. phoning c-care is a nightmare!

Any Ideas Please?

If all the lights come on (in the correct boot up sequence) then could it be possible that the router is not the problem? Do you have another PC to try with... or maybe another ADSL router?

If you are 100% sure that the problem is the router only, then you may find it quicker and easier just to buy one from somewhere like PCWorld (spit!!) for about £40ish and be up and running the same day then to 'run the gauntlet' of Carphone Warehouse 'help line'?

I am with Talk Talk, I will give you a little tip.

Never phone customer services, simply go into a Carphone Warehouse shop and demand action. They will phone customer services for you just to shut you up.

If you have pushed the reset button the router will need to be set up again , plug a ethernet cable in it and your pc and then log in and put all your settings back in (you should have got paper work with the settings on)

Never push the reset button on a router

edit: have you tried connecting the ethernet then open your web browser and put the ip address of the router in , you should get a login screen. - otherwise sorry carn't help

Well then it's pretty obvious that it has died on you. They don't last for ever! Exactly the same way as a light, works, turn it off, turn it on, doesn't work!
