used my internet and phone on friday evening and everything appeared to be working as normal-saturday morning i went to use my landline and the line was dead-no dial tone just silencephoned talktalk to ask if there was fault with the area lines however talktalk advised me that they had received no other complaints.they told me they would report the fault and if they sent round an engineer and it was a problem with my electrics i would be charged 140 quid!have tried different phones into the two phone line sockets in my property but still no dial tone. have tried the tester socket also but that is not working either. am pretty sure that nothing is wrong with my electrics....Any idea what could be the problem? anyone else with talktalk had this issue?thanks in advance for your replies!!!
