Talk about an interesting teacher?

Start with teachers of the year who decline the honor after being selected.  This happened this year in Minnesota.  No specific reasons were given, just personal ones which were not disclosed.  

I had an interesting teacher that was high on life, constantly pepped up, and eager to teach.  He got all students involved and while he was not a pushover, an A+ was quite achievable.  His love for his subject was obvious, his zeal to pass that knowledge on to students was just as obvious.  I don't really see this much these days, sad  to say, because this teacher was a social studies teacher in my high school, and I have already had my 25th year Class Reunion.
