  1. USA leaders have a problem that would be better solved by a few psychotherapists.

UK was run by a guy with his head up George Bush's a**s at the time.

Every country spends huge amounts on holding the Olympics.

My opinion on it all: not suprising

  2. Your question appears to be trying to make a point what that is I have no idea

You throw out numbers with no back up I know people who pay $4000 per month on their electrical bill but they can afford it If i felt they were wasteful I would just say it But I don't

  3. I think you are wondering why none of that money floated your way, and how you can manage enough outrage to snivel and get you some. Otherwise, your whole post is pointless.

  4. The olympics are entertainment, the war on Iraq is a dissgrace. There is no simile or comparrison. China has presented spectacular games which are still overshadowed by War and oppression.

The war on Iraq is a farce, a cherade, nothing more than a global advert of terror. Do as we say or else. It disgusts me to the core that any should try to value one against the other.

Sadam's power machine was initially funded and supported by UK+US Governments. Do you recall the iatolla k'homene(excuse my spelling please I am un-educated in the west). Sadam was on our side and tens of thousands died in a bitter, visciouse and chemical war funded by us and approved by us with weapons supplied by us.

Perhaps it would be better if national conflicts were settled by national leaders and not their ill-educated subjects by way of games such as the olympics. Bless, how can you stoop to compare one against the other in measure of cost, those poor mothers, son's, lovers, yet I'd guarantee that the war on Iraq earned far more than the olympics ever could. Best current investment is WAR.

  5. 2008 yahoo spent 13billion on yahoo answers for someone like you to state the obvious

  6. Very good point! And despite all the money spent by US and UK, we only got snippets of it on TV, and there were no options to access with the red button on Freeview. Poor show, and poor value for money. But the board of Halliburton and Blackwater are not going to complain. Nice graft if you can get it.

  7. Well, Saddam is gone which is a weight off the world's shoulders.

As a side effect we have thousands of dead civilians, and the African are still starving.

    Something's not right there.

Fair play to China, the games were epic.
