Talk mom into rock band 2 for xbox ?

How can I talk my mom into getting rock band 2 for xbox 360. She said she just wants the games because we have the old instruments. Well I would like to have the improved instruments. Who wouldent. So again.......How could I get my mom to get Rock Band 2 for xbox 360 Special Edition Package. (comes with intruments) I told her its only $190.00 (I think) and i would pay $50.00 to make her pay $140.00.

Break the bass pedal on the drum set. They snap easy enough with over use. That way, when the new game comes out, she'll feel sorry for you and buy you the new one.

1. if she does not know anything about video games and things like that tell her they made modifications to the rock band 2 drums that made them only compatible with rock band 2. in others words what your telling her is that the rockband 1 drums wont work with rockband 2. you will have to lie and hope she does not find out for this option.

2. tell her its so you can play co-op on the guitar. if you only have one guitar then you might be able to weasel another guitar out of her by saying you want to play co-op and have 2 guitars.

other than that id say beg her and bug her till she says yes.

what you could do is, ask her to buy the game, pay her back the money gradually, and have her keep track of how much you still owe.  My mom did the same thing when she bought my computer.  as far as the whole instrument thing goes, its best to buy the whole thing rather than the game...
