Question:

Talking and meeting strangers in open areas?

I made a goal to myself to meet one person everyday. Whether it is in the subway, elevator or where I work. Especially since I just started working. How can I meet strangers on the elevator or anywhere in general. I have no clue where to start and what to say. Any advice you follow would be helpful! Thanks in advice.

  1. To meet one person everyday, good luck with that.

Be careful, the world is a cruel place out there, especially alone.

  2. read the book how to win friends and influence others by dale careign or something like that

a simple smile can open the door to communication...maintain the attitude that you are at some sort of service to them even if just to show that you care about how their day is going be sincere

  3. It's easy. Keep it simple.

Just walk up to someone and give them a bright hello. A firm handshake is a plus. Keep a stout posture, a golden smile, and a look on your face like you KNOW you're worth a million dollars.

Offer them a genuine compliment. Tell a woman she looks beautiful today. Tell a man he's looking sharp today. Then walk away. That's it.

Sincerity is key. People know when you are nervous or faking it. People also know when you're being genuine and sincere.

Forget that "cruel world" c**p. People are wonderful, and meeting them is pretty fun. Any given person will be as pleasant as you are.

Keep in mind, people love compliments, and they love talking about themselves.

Also, to h**l with your comfort zone. If you want something you've never had before, you have to do something you've never done before. s***w your pride; go out there and make some progress.

    Good luck!
