Talking to my mom about birth control?

i'm fifteen and i've been dating my boyfriend for seven months. we've started having s*x about once a month. my period is very irregular and always has been but now its causing me to stress when its late. my mom really trusts me and my boyfriend together. but i'm scared if i ask for birth control, she won't let me go to his house anymore. i don't want the rest of my family finding out if i go on birth control, just my mom. what should i do?

you should just ask her! does she know your having s*x? this may annoy you and i know you don't want people telling you this but you way to young to be having s*x you think your older but your not.And yes it is a dangerous risk and you should reconsider.If your embarrassed about asking your mom, you'll be waaaaaay more embarrassed when your pregnant

wow ok. well make sure he's not making you have s*x, firstly. next, s*x isn't love. why are you having s*x at 15 anyways? if you didn't, you wouldn't EVER have to worry about getting pregnant or asking your mom for BC. but, it's better than having a baby at 15 i guess..

you don't have to talk to your mom if you feel that uncomfortable. you are able to go straight to your doctor talk to him/her about it.  i find it kind of upsetting that you are 15 and having s*x though and also that you are uncomfortable with talking to your mom ablotu it.  really your mom probably already is thinking that something is up if you are doing it.  think about where your life could go with this.

tell your mom that this is your desicion and you are trying to be safe and responsible about it. if she gets mad, remind her that at least your trying to get birth control and (hopefully) using condoms! shell probally be happy that you can talk to her about it!

Good, go talk to your mom, its good to get it off your chest and birth control shouild help you. Justtalk to her, if she gets mad, then she'll cool down! if she doesnt then youll thank yourself for doing it, no bad can come of it, plus she needs to pay for it nd if you dont tell her now she'll find it and flip

FIRST, if you have irregular periods - it is very useful to use birth control as a treatment - to make your cycles regular and normal

SECOND, if you would have regular periods it will be easier to control risks

THIRD, please be informed that the best modern contraception for youth is dual contraception.

if you are going to have s*x anyways at your age, then you should definitely talk to your mom about it. she can help you get proper birth control, and that way, you won't have to worry anymore. and your mom will trust you more, because you came to her when you needed help, and you didn't even need to talk to her. i think it's great that you want to tell your mom! and just tell her that you don't want anyone else in your family to know. i'm sure she'll understand.

tell her when u are alone with her. explain how u want her to continue to trust u and that is why u want to let her no what is going on and how u dont want to hide anything from her and all that it will make her feel better
