  1. i thought the dark term meant the hair not the skin

  2. idk thats retarded.

    i like'm whitee.

    not like whiteWHITE

    but now like darkk.

    but not tan either.

  3. I think it's more of a saying than anything else.

    Different girls like different features.

I myself don't really care about dark or light skin.

    :)

  4. I like a guy with a nice tannish look, but it doesnt really matter what his skin tone is, I like him for who he is.

  5. I thought it meant hair too, or just a tan

  6. tall dark and handsome is a saying.... the dark doesn't mean skin color it means hair color. guys that look like pierce brosnon... tall, dark (haired) and handsome.

  7. Alright, I'm going to get scientific on this shiznit.

"Darkness" can display a higher level of testosterone in males. I think it generally has more to do with hair color than with complexion. This phenomenon is common in nature:

"Scientists from the University of Minnesota took life-sized toy lions - some with dark manes and others with light coloured ones - left them in the Serengeti National Park, and observed which the females preferred.

Nine times out of ten the females chose the dark-maned lion.

According to work published in the journal Science, the females' preference for brunettes over blondes is not only cosmetic, as dark maned lions have high testosterone levels and seem to be in better health than their blond counterparts."

  8. I've been described as tall, dark, and handsome many times, and I have an average colored complexion. I think that the "dark" part might refer to the hair? Or maybe the personality, by that I mean like a strong, thoughtful personality, not a dark scary one.
