  1. Love dirt? Tall? Still growing?? The BMW Enduros. The R1200 RS would be outstanding if you had the means. They are really tall bikes; lots of clearance, good on/off road and are tons of fun.

Failing that why not stick with the dual purpose on/off road style? The tall guys I know fold up like accordions on their big sport bikes with the forward bars and the rear set pegs. At gas stops they spend a lot of time hobbling and stretching out their leg muscles...

    Have fun!

  2. Dual pourpose bikes are going to fit you best.

    Honda XR650L http://powersports.honda.com/motorcycles...

    Kawasaki KLR650

    Suzuki DR650

Or a standard bike like a

    Honda CB750

    Kawasaki ZRX1100

    Suzuki GS1100

    Yamaha YJR 1200

Those are just the style of bikes you should be looking at - some are out of production.

That style is not very popular anymore, so you might have to settle for a used model.

Sportbike - you'll be to cramped up and your knees will act as wind sails while riding.

Cruiser - the seat heights are to low and your knees will be sticking up in the air conflicting with the handlebars.

Go to some dealerships and sit on the bikes.

  3. Hey, alright Suzuki, I thought that they always made a great bike. I had one for yrs. A Suzuki TS 250 baby blue with the shocks fully extended and did we have fun. Its a great Little bike for catching air and pulling up on turns when  the  back tire  swings from under you. Yes, I 've been riding since I was 7-8yrs. on a dairy farms up north Wisc. I too have a problem with long legs. 36in. inseam to be exact and now I ride a full dressed out Harley and like the guy before me said the peg idea really works great and is so comfortable you can go on day trips anywhere at anytime. You might like to check out something custom. But, one thing though forget the off roading then. But its worth the exchange!! Good luck! And Enjoy the ride!!!!

  4. All sports bike are around the same size, only a few inches in difference. Your size will not be a problem riding the bike, it might just be uncomfortable for you. If your looking for a comfortable ride, then get a Harley and you can sit back more on the seat and adjust your pegs.
