Tamagatchi v 4.5 help!!!!

i need help with my v4.5 tamagatchi! i am on tamatown and i just got the code for the treadmill i put it on my tamagatchi and then it showed the treadmill on there but nothing happened? how do i get it so that i can use the treadmill? i need help plz!

First you have to wrap it as a gift and then when you do that, you select the tredmill and then your tamagotchi will be seen playing with it!
