Tamagotchi 5 problem. Please advise.?

My daughter has recently been given a Tamagotchi 5. The problem is that she cannot take it to school and the critters keep "dieing" since there doesn't appear to be a pause function like previous versions had.

Is there a pause function? What can be done to stop the critters disappearing on her?

If it's anything like the V4, then you can press A and B to pause (press A first, hold it down and press B). To turn off the sound, do the same thing only press A first and then B.

See if it works, if not, you might be able to find help on Google.

Well on the version 5, its much more different than all the other versions. You actually can pause the v5 by going on the TRAVEL SHOW. To get there, you have to go to the TV icon (5th icon) ans select TRAVEL SHOW. When you select travel show it will show her tamagotchis traveling. While this is happening, her tamagotchis are currently on pause mode.

they still make those things? wow...ummm Im sorry I cannot help you. I was just amazed that they still made them. maybe you can watch it for her while she's at school.
