Tamagotchi???

Question

Some keeps saying that after your tamagotchi dies pressing C,A and B makes the next generation have 5 eggs....How do you take care of 5 eggs though and does this even work??

I think that is in a specific version in Japan. I've tried and it doesn't work... but now in v5 you can have 3 tamagotchis!!!
