I don't see how this device would make the assembly of tamales any easier. Yes, it dispenses masa and meat into the husk, but I'd rather do it myself with one less thing to clean up.

Believe it or not, I ate at that tamale stand a few weeks ago!  They were pretty darn good, so I guess if they use the machines, they must work fine.  Of course a lot of the tamales' flavor comes from good ingredients and not skimping on the meat.

i wouldn't use the machine, its not hard to make, i think by hand u get to chill with your family or friends

I don't see any real need to purchase a tamale machine. They're not hard at all to make by hand. I wouldn't waste my money.
