August 16 vs. San Antonio Silver Stars
On August 16 at the AT&T Center, Catchings posted yet another brilliant performance and led all scorers with 26 points as Indiana edged out the Silver Stars 65-63 enroute to their third consecutive win. Catching also had five rebounds,
three steals, three blocks and two assists in the victory.
August 21 vs. Washington Mystics
Tamika Catchings scored 13 points as Indiana Fever beat Washington Mystics 83-51 on August 21 at the Conseco Fieldhouse. In more than 26 minutes on the field, she grabbed eight rebounds, stole the ball four times and blocked one
shot. Catchings went 5 for 9 from the field and 3 for 4 from free throw line that night.
August 30 vs. Atlanta Dream
In a hard-fought 92-90 loss against the Atlanta Dream, Tamika Catchings scored 20 points along with a team high seven rebounds.
The veteran forward also dished out three assists and stole the ball three times in more than 30 minutes of action. She finished off on a 6 for 13 from the field, including 2 for 5 from three-point range and a perfect 6 for 6 from
free throw line. She scored 17 of her points in the first half of the game as Fever held a 73-69 lead at halftime.
September 4 vs. Chicago Sky
On September 4, Catchings starred yet again with a team-high 17 points as Indiana snapped their three-game losing streak by beating Chicago Sky 88-80 at the Allstate Arena. She also dished out six assists in the victory and was
5 for 10 from the floor and 6 for 7 from free throw line.
Leading by 72-64 after three quarters, Fever saw their lead trimmed to only one point, 79-78, with 04:15 to go in the last quarter. However, Catchings responded with a three point play to make it 82-78. She then sealed the game
with a pair of free throws.
September 7 vs. Washington Mystics
Three days later at Conseco Fieldhouse, the four-time Defensive Player of the Year registered a breath-taking double-double in Fever’s highest scoring game of the regular season.
Catchings once again posted 17 points and grabbed team-best 10 rebounds as Indiana rolled over Washington Mystics 87-69. The All-Star scored nine points in the first quarter of the game to put Indiana ahead by 22-11. She played
for more than 35 minutes, shooting 5 for 10 from the floor and 6 for 7 from the line.
