Less than a day to go into the second Test against West Indies, prolific Bangladesh batsman Tamim Iqbal remains a doubtful starter for the game with an elbow injury.
Iqbal, 23, hurt a tendon in his left elbow while batting in the first innings of the first Test against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/West-Indies-c760, in Mirpur, which his side lost by 77 runs. The experienced Chittagong batsman, who scored 72 and 5 in the series opener last week, batted only against spin in the nets on Monday, and will undergo a fitness test later in the day to determine his availability for the second and final Windies Test.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has called up uncapped batsman Anamul Haque to the squad as cover for injured Tamim. However, it still remains unclear whether the Khulna teenager will make his Test debut tomorrow or not.
The 19-year-old right-handed batsman plays for Khulna Division in Bangladesh’s domestic circuit. To date he has played 23 first class matches, scoring 1726 runs at an impressive average of 45.42. The tally also includes seven centuries and six half centuries.
He has scored 366 runs in six NCL (National Cricket League) innings this month, including two unbeaten centuries (127* and 104*) in the last three outings, at an average of 91.50.
