The 22-years old batsman has far played 19 Test matches for his country and is currently averaging 40.13 runs per innings. He has three hundreds under his belt as well and is considered as the most dangerous batsman in the Bangladeshi lineup.

Playing county cricket was the dream of Tamim, which is about to be fulfilled now and the Bangladeshi cricket fans will be hoping that their star player can make the most of this chance.
He added, "You know luck was not favouring me in this matter. And also I think I had chosen wrong agent previously and for that I had to wait for long to make my dream come true. Now it's feeling really great as Nottinghamshire confirmed me for the next
six matches in the T20 competition."
