Taming my male mouse?

we got him yesterday. we thought he was a girl, they said he was and we checked. looked like a girl. got home. boy. now we are either finding him a home and getting two girls. or keeping him. i like him alot. but he doesnt come around! he is so skittish! i want him to come to me but doesnt. i left my hand in there for like five min and he wouldnt move. what should i do?

hand feed him for the next couple days. that way he will get used to your hand and that will be a start. then once he is used to your hand, u can try letting him get used to u. play with him and let him get to feel comfortable around u and let him get to know u.

Well I got my hamster last Thursday and it is still scared of my whole family. If mice are the same then you should wait a couple days to play with him and let him get used to his new enviorment. You probably know more than I do but I'm trying

catch him with a cup then put him in your hands and just let him get used to you
