How do you think the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will do this season. I think they will do well even though they have a tough schedule this season. Explain your opinion and tell me what you think their record will be and how far they will make it into the play-offs if they make it.

  1. C'mon now, Cadillac will be back. He's a Blue Devil. Etowah High Class of 2001 HOOAH! Yeah The Bucs will do good. I'm glad they didn't get Favre. I love Favre to death but Tampa is comfortable with Garcia. He deserves to start.

  2. 2nd in their division at best.

  3. they will be 8-8 and be in 3rd place in the division the only playoff team there will be the New orleans saints panthers would be 9-7

  4. I have been a fan of theirs for many years now and This year throughout all of the of season, OTA, and training camp I have followed them more closely than ever because they are developing, in my observation, to be a much greater team this year than they even were our Super Bowl year.... They are filling many empty areas that needed filled with players that are starting to show real play making abilities... Many of our starters that were hurt last year are now healthy and showing signs of being much improved than last year... I truly feel like they will be Divisional Champs again this year or at least force the Saints or the Panthers, who both have huge holes in their defense, to really earn it... I look at the schedule and from my observation so far of the teams that we will play and see them with a 10-6 record going into the playoffs. I feel that they are finally becoming a force to be feared in the NFC and I openly welcome all doubters because when that does happen it will make the victory that much sweeter....The best thing about being underestamated is when you have beaten them down and walking away they are left  in shock and disbelief not sure of what just hit them.........

  5. I believe they will have a great shot at winning the division. The Saints will give the Bucs all they can handle in the NFC south. I like the make up of the team. If Carnell Williams can comeback from the injury he will be a huge boost for them. I am predicting 10-6 record and a NFC wild card spot for Tampa Bay.

  6. first of all the bucs are much better team and healthier than they were last year.

the drafted players should help especially Aqib in the nickle defense and jackson in the return game.

warren, Piscitelli, clayton, dunn, aqib, dre moore, jackson, troupe, steven and stovall should make the bucs better this year. most of them didnt play or  werent factors last year.

i am looking at 10-6 and making the playoff. how far they go depends on the health of the qb AND wheather Cadillac will return or not.

  7. With Jeff Garcia still at QB and the Cadillac Williams as their RB they will be 10-6 and will make atleast a wild-card spot but with their defense being so up and down they'll probably be headed home from their so don't make any superbowl plans.

  8. The team is pretty solid overall.

Jeff Garcia is just as much a liability as he is a good QB.  His health issues may pop up to hurt them again as they did late last season.  The difference this season is they've aquired Brian Griese as his backup.  I know Brian is not a great QB, but he's better than most people realize.  Griese is quite familiar with Gruden's system after already playing for him and the Bucs a couple of years back. ( and did rather well also)

The defense is a solid mix of veterans and younger players and with Monte Kiffin calling the plays, all should be well on that side of the ball.  Talib was a solid draft pick and will see plenty of playing time this season.

The biggest question mark for me is the WR corps.  Galloway isn't getting any younger, but he isn't slowing down either.  As long as he stays healthy, he can still be a force.  However, Stovall and Clayton are going to have to step it up.  I see Stovall improving, but I don't think Clayton will ever be what we thought he was going to be.  Keep an eye on young Paris Warren to get some PT.

Running Backs:  I just don't know about this one.  Carnell Williams is out for the first six weeks.  Was Earnest Graham a fluke?  Time will only tell.  Look to see more carries by Michael Bennet and of course Warrick Dunn will come in on situational downs.  Running back by commitee again unless Graham proves he's for real.

Special Teams are solid all the way around.  The best they've been in a long time.

Offfensive line is finally a strength instead of a liability.  Sears, Trueblood and Joseph are going to be mainstays for a long time.

I truly see the Bucs finishing 11-5 this season winning the NFC South.  A trip to the NFC Championship game, but probrably not the Super Bowl.  I hate the Cowboys, but I think they own the NFC this year.

  9. They will be tough, definatly over .500

  10. second place in south after saints wildcard maybe 9-7 they may have the best defense in the nfc south but no one can say that the saints offense is the most powerful offense by far in the south so this 2 teams will fight for the crown
