Tampa Bay Buccaneers thrash Kansas City Chiefs with a 38-10 win – NFL Recap
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-3) showed their offensive muscles as they beat Kansas City Chiefs 38-10 in Week 6 game on Sunday, October 14, 2012, at Raymond James Stadium, Tampa, Florida.

Quarterback Josh Freeman completed 15 out of 26 passes for 328 yards and also scored three touchdowns. He looked revamped in this coming after getting rest due to bye week.
Buccaneers head coach Greg Schiano expressed satisfaction during the postgame press conference that his quarterback is starting to get into form after a slow start to the season. According to the Associated Press, Schiano said:
"It's a big day for our offense and for our team to get back on track. For Josh, especially, I thought he kept his cool throughout the game when things didn't go well. ... Sure, there are going to be throws he's going to wish he had back and things he wished
he did differently.”
Chiefs quarterback Brady Quinn got his first start in two years, but was unable to show good performance after failing to score even a single touchdown throughout the game. Quinn finished with 22 of 38 for 180 yards.

It was not the first time he had done that in his illustrious 10-year career, but Barber was happy that it came at a time when his team desperately needed points. Barber said:
"If I could bottle that, I'd sell it for a lot of money. I've always been ball aware. I see the ball out a lot because I'm always around it. I can't tell you why. I'll just take them as they come, though."
Buccaneers opened the scoring chart with a touchdown in the final minutes of the first quarter as Williams caught a 62-yard pass. The score went 3-7 in the second quarter with a field goal by Chiefs kicker Ryan Succop.
Buccaneers offence dominated the third quarter and scored two touchdowns. The first one came with a 19-yard pass to Jackson. The second touchdown was Barber’s 78-yard interception return, finishing the third quarter 21-3.
Chiefs got a good start to the final quarter as their defensive end Edgar Jones returned a fumble for 11 yards to reach the end zone to take the score to 21-10.
Buccaneers then scored a field goal that was followed by two touchdowns to finish the game 38-10.
Buccaneers’ next game will be against New Orleans Saints, while Chiefs will have a bye week.
