Tampa Bay Rays mascots....?

If the tampa bay rays have the logo of the ray of light then why do they still need raymond? shouldnt they get a ray of light walking around tropicana field jumping around eating popcorn?

Rays are too skinny and they would then have to make a fat ray. Plus the kids love Raymond.

I'm still not sure what Raymond is, but it would be pretty hard to have a pure ray of light walking around without blinding people.

they are still the devil rays as far as i'm concerned. if they get rid of raymond i will be quite upset.
