I have just successfully inserted my first tampon (Yay! no more pads!) And when I went to take it out it HURT REALLY bad. I almost wanted to cry. I am a virgin. Is it normal for it to hurt, your first time? It didn't hurt inserting it, just removing.

  1. lol you only had it in for one minutiee

  2. since u only left it in for a minute, it bet it would hurt! if it is too dry when u remove it, it can be uncomfortable.  not to be gross but the blood from your menses serves as a lubricant for painless removal.  if u still have pain when it is fully saturated, you also my want to try a smaller tampon which are typically labeled "slim" or "slender."

  3. it may because its not completely filled and is still dry a little sometimes that causes it to hurt.

  4. it still hurts for me, and its like my 3rd year

  5. it hurt because it was dry. you can't put it in and then take it out because it is too dry and the tampon sticks to your v****a.  if you leave it in longer it won't hurt, it also take a little bit of time to get used to the feeling of taking a tampon out.

  6. you werent wet enough so yea it hurt its normal

  7. its probably because you're taking it out too soon. If it is still dry when you take it out it will hurt. try waiting a lil longer
