Tampon help. IS this normal?

Is this normal.....

I've been having to change my tampon every hour so it doesn't leak. I don't have a heavy flow. have a normal flow. but all the blood goes to one side of the tampon and than it starts to leak?? The other have of the tampon is completly white why??

Please help. any tips i can do something different???

  1. I know what you mean! This happens to me sometimes. It could be the residual blood from before you inserted your tampon. I suspect its because of your anatomy and how your flood flows, and the shape of the tampon and how it absorbs it. Your cervix changes positiion during your period, so that could be it. filling up half a tampon in an hour....what absorbency was it? if its a super tampon i might be concerned.....you could be anemic. Switch to a menstrual cup

  2. idk its probly normal i mean that sorta happened to me b4. More blood sometimes goes to one side of the tampon than the other. The other side was never completly white, but had less blood on it.  

  3. is it in properly? i mean far enough? its normal for it to be to one side, because of ur cervix. but if blood is coming out onto ur underpants, id think u havent inserted it far enough..

    anyway, if u cant fix the prob, wear pantý liners even if u have ur tampon in..
