Tampon help? girls only pleaseeee?

Im gonna make this short. I need to wear a tampon because i do swim team. Im really scared im gonna get tss. what are the chaces of getting tss? like how many cases are there in a year? Is there ways i can definatly not get tss?

Hun thats a rare thing you get from tampons and thats if you abuse it or dont do it right. Just be sure to Insert the aplicater all the way in to where your fingers are touching the outside of your v****a before you actually push in the tampon..if you feel no discomfort, then theres nothing to worry about. Also make sure to change it at least once every 5 hours. Ive had my period for 6 years and have been sticking to that and have had absolutely no problems

It is not likely that u will get TSS, it is very rare.

ur chances of getting TSS are slim- to-none. calm down! the only thing u need to keep in mind in to change the tampon every 8 hours. (at least). and just to be extra careful, (as i see u r) go ahead an wear a pad during the nights
