Tampon while riding?

Question

I am a western rider and when I wear a pad it leaks when riding (I do barrel racing by the way) I hate the wet feeling and I want to be dry and more comfy. Will it get stuck when i post? Is it ok to use a tampon while riding?

HOLY c**p!What next? As an old Bullrider raising my daughter (I hope that you don't feel invaded.) I had no idea,until now that such a problem existed. She is 10 and a GREAT rider! My old mare and her get along so well that I almost believe she'll be a CFR contender. I don't think there is anyway this side of h**l that I can talk to her about this! Lord I hope someone helps her! I ain't NEVER going to have the guts to bring this up.

my cousin has also had this problem, she barrel races too, she wears tampons but often complains its not comfortable but she still wears them while riding.

I always use a tampon when riding- it shouldn't cause any problems. Every once and a while I can feel it, but usually, it feels like it isn't there. I can't stand pads.

Wow your bold to post that question. Lol, but YES you can wear a tampon when riding. I do it, and no it is not uncomfortable. It is just like how it...always...feels?? haha.

Sure the tampon does not goes anywere as long as its inserted correctly. The instructions are with the product.
