  1. I've always been happy with the basic Tampax tampons.  They're affordable, the applicator and wrapper are flushable, and the tampon shape was the most comfortable for me.  You may be happier with another brand, try a few out.  One piece of advice I do have, don't buy generic.  The applicators are really uncomfortable and the tampon itself is not as absorbent.  This is one case where the generic is not the same as the brand name.

  2. im 16 and never used a tampon. :)

  3. wat do u know about tampons(in my opinion they are way better than pads)

wat brand is the best nd y(idk but i use playtex gentle glidee)

how old were u the 1st time u used them(13)

how was ur 1st experince(it was wondeful i couldnt feel it it took about 3 try 4 me to acutally get it inside me)

wat was the easyiest way 2 insert them (squating with your legs wide apart)

how did they feel(i dont feel nothin)

  4. i've never used them....

  5. * For me the best brand is platex sport, because I think they fit the best because they are for sports so they are more flexible with you!!

    * The first time that I used them was when I was 11..

    * Well for me the easiest way to insert them was sitting down if that is what you mean..

    * Well I can't feel them when I have them in is because that is how playtex sport is for me..

  6. I first used tampons at 19. Its strongly recommended that you not use them until after you become sexually active.

It took me a few periods to get it right. and I think I went through the first box during the first period I tried them with, simply because I kept getting them wrong and had to throw them out lol.

As for all your other questions, they can only be answered by buying them, reading the instructions, and trying them out.

I can't believe that you don't know what they look like, there are many MANY commercials on tv for tampons, as well they show what the tampon and applicator look like on the packaging.

  7. it hurts the first time

but after a while u get used to it

im 14 i just started and i personally think therer more comfortable

pads feel like diapers lol i dont like them

    good luck!

  8. I have used them since HS. I prefer OB - it's easier to put it in the right place without an applicator and they were designed by a doctor. Easier to be discreet with them too and they are the best as far as protection. I buy Kotex Sport for my teenage daughters. Those have a plastic applicator (which goes in the trash, not flushable).

ALWAYS use lowest absorbancy you need to prevent TSS.

Easiest way to insert is with one leg propped on something probably for the 1st time. If it's in the right place, you won't feel it. If wrong place (usually not in far enough) - it could hurt.

    Try them, you'll be fine!

  9. I use them when I'm on my period and I need to go swimming or be in a bathing suit.

I use Tampex Pearl... It never leaks

I started when I was 13 because I was on swim team

My first experience was weird at first but then I was like oh well it really isn't that bad. I couldn't feel it at all.

The easiest way to insert them is by proping your leg up on the tiolet (opens hole up more) and aiming toward lower back, not strait up.

Couldn't feel it at all. =]

    3. 11?

    4. it sucked ! :D

    5. haha. sit on the toilet. stick it in as far as you can push the applicator.

    6. the first few times there uncomfortable but more mentally just knowing something is stuck up there but after that it's fine.

  11. Playtex

13 1 year after recieving my present

no biggie just felt like I didn't have anything up there

sitting on the potty with me legs spread really wide

    like they wheren't there

    NO I can't

  12. Tampons keep your blood from running down your leg and smelling.

Tampax Pearl ultra thick because every time you buy one they go to people in Africa and they absorb what your panties can't.

    I was 9.

Scary because I was afraid.  My mom had to help me so it was kind of a bonding experience.  I practiced on my dog when she gets her period.  It really helps you learn the basic maneuvering.

You just stick it up there.  Read the package.

    Breezy!

NO!!!!! find one yourself but I could show you my dog or in person

  13. I used my first tampon when I was 13. I only use when I am swimming. I personally do not like them - they are messy and uncomfortable. It just feels like you have something hanging out of you all day. I insert them from the front.

I use playtex - any are fine.

The best way to know is to try! Just get one for like .25 the next time you are in a bathroom in a store.

    Good Luck!
